Dr. Baima is a veteran dental practitioner. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee in 1975 and received a degree in Periodontics from the Specialty Residency of Periodontology Program at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Additionally, Dr. Baima completed advanced training in Prosthodontics, Dental Implantology and Maxillofacial Prosthetics/Head and Neck Cancer Treatment at the UCLA Medical Center and Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Los Angeles.
A distinguished contributor to dental academia, Dr. Baima is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and the American Board of Prosthodontics. He has given more than 200 educational lectures at dental conventions and seminars. He has also published peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of Prosthodontics Dentistry, Journal of Prosthodontics, Michigan Dental Association Journal and Implant Dentistry. He has written several chapters in the textbook Contemporary Fixed Prosthodontics published by C.V. Mosby Company. He served as the Director of Implant Dentistry for the General Practice Dental Residency Program at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
