Learn More

Patient story from Lincoln Park Smiles
You do not need to arrive asking for a particular procedure. Start by telling us what you notice. The recommendation comes after we understand the problem.
Good dentistry should draw attention to your smile, not to the dental work. Our goal is improvement that still looks believable when you speak, laugh, and smile.
Before treatment, we look at the health of the teeth and gums, existing restorations, tooth position, and bite. When several kinds of care overlap, our team can plan those needs together.
Digital scanning helps us capture detailed information about your teeth. More importantly, we explain what each procedure changes, what alternatives exist, and what treatment involves.
How It Works
What would you change, what is bothering you, or what would you like checked? You do not need a perfectly defined plan before you come in.
There is often more than one way to solve a concern. We will explain the advantages, limitations, and level of commitment involved with the options that apply to you.

Meet The LPS Dental Team
LPS Dental’s roots in Chicago go back to 1999, when Dr. Jack Manikowski opened Lincoln Park Smiles.
Today we have three Chicago offices and a team whose experience extends across cosmetic, restorative, implant, periodontal, prosthodontic, and general dentistry.
Treatment planning that considers appearance, tooth structure, function, and long-term health together.
Dr. Jack Manikowski is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Digital scanning and planning tools help us evaluate and communicate proposed treatment.
You do not need to know which treatment you need before you call. Here are answers to the questions patients ask most often before choosing care at LPS Dental.
LPS Dental provides general, cosmetic, restorative, implant, orthodontic, periodontal, and prosthodontic care. That includes exams, cavity treatment, fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, whitening, bonding, Invisalign, smile makeovers, dental implants, and more complex reconstruction when needed.
No. Tell your dentist what bothers you and what kind of change or relief you are hoping for. From there we can determine whether the concern is best addressed through preventive care, restorative treatment, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, implants, or a combination.
LPS Dental has three Chicago offices: Lincoln Park at 1701 N Sheffield Avenue, Downtown Chicago at 30 N Michigan Avenue, and Norwood Park at 6315 N Milwaukee Avenue. Choose whichever location is most convenient.
Coverage depends on the procedure and your plan. Treatment performed only to change appearance is generally less likely to be covered. When a procedure is also necessary to restore a damaged, diseased, or missing tooth, benefits may be different. Our team can review your dental benefits and discuss payment options.
Request an appointment and tell us which Chicago office works best for you. We will look at your smile, talk through what is realistically possible, and help you compare the options before treatment begins.
You do not need to have the treatment figured out before you come in. We will look at your smile, talk through what is realistically possible, and help you compare the options at whichever of our three Chicago offices is easiest for you.
